How do you post one idea to every social network at once?

The short answer

Connect the networks you use, give PlatPost one idea, and approve the drafts. PlatPost writes a version that fits each network, and posts them from one calendar to up to 16 networks at the time you chose.

The steps

This takes a few minutes once your accounts are connected.

  1. Open Connected Channels and connect each network. You sign in on the network itself. PlatPost never sees your password.
  2. Open Create. Type one idea and pick a tone.
  3. Read the three drafts. Edit them, fill any gap, and keep the ones you like.
  4. Open the calendar. Your kept drafts wait in the Drafts bar above it.
  5. Drag a draft onto a day, tick the channels it goes to, and set the time.
  6. PlatPost posts it at that time. The calendar shows what posted and tells you if a post did not go out.

Why the same text does not go everywhere

Each network has its own limit and its own habits. A post that fits one is cut off on another.

PlatPost writes for the network. The composer also counts your characters against the tightest limit of the networks you ticked, so you see a problem before you post.
