Why we launched PlatPost on DivvLaunches

Building a product is the fun part. Getting people to actually see it is the hard part. Most indie makers ship, post once on X, and then wonder where everyone went.

We felt that with PlatPost too. So for our launch we picked DivvLaunches (opens in a new tab), a launch platform made for indie makers and small teams. Here's what it is, why we liked it, and how you can use it for your own product.

What DivvLaunches is

DivvLaunches is where makers launch new products and people come to discover them. Every day has its own set of launches. Each one gets a 24 hour voting window where visitors try the demos and upvote the products they like, and the top ones land on the podium.

The whole site has a fun airport theme. Launches are "flights," each one gets a flight number and a gate, and makers get a boarding pass they can share. It sounds small, but it makes launch day feel like an event instead of just another post.

What you get as a maker

PlatPost launched on DivvLaunches on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, as flight DL123 in First Class.

2. Add your product details, logo and a few screenshots.
3. Pick your launch date. The pricing page shows the current options.
4. On launch day, share your boarding pass and ask your audience to vote.
